Artist Bio
张樵是一位来自中国、现居加拿大曼尼托巴省温尼伯市的艺术家。她的创作实践以摄影为基础，关注日常生活如何沉淀于居住空间与城市空间之中。通过对物品、室内环境以及生活痕迹的观察，她探讨人们如何在空间中留下存在的印记，以及这些痕迹如何在人离开之后继续存在，并被后来者感知与阅读。
她长期关注那些容易被忽略的细节与日常轨迹，并将其视为理解个人记忆、社会关系与地方经验的重要线索。她的作品从日常环境中不断累积却常被忽视的细微痕迹出发，重新思考人与空间之间的联系。
Qiao Zhang is an artist from China currently based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Her artistic practice is rooted in photography and focuses on how everyday life becomes embedded within domestic and urban spaces. Through close observation of objects, interior environments, and traces of daily life, she seeks to explore how people leave marks of their presence within spaces, and how these traces continue to exist after their absence, remaining available to be perceived and read by others.
For a long time, Qiao Zhang has been attentive to the often-overlooked details and routines of everyday life, viewing them as important clues for understanding personal memory, social relationships, and experiences of place. Through photography, she attempts to re-examine the connections between people and space through these subtle and tangible traces.
